It needs new blood but keep RTD far away from it. He is garbage at both story and character. I think he is responsible for more that 2/3 of all the fart jokes in Doctor Who.

I think it needs to go back to serials. Give stories enough time to setup problems and them actually solve them. The Doctor just magics hits way out of problems these days.

Sending Floyd to his death in Planet Fall.

Because his original motivation was to impress a girl he liked. Death is a hot chick that he was in to but she wasn’t interested in him. So he figured killing half of all life would impress her.

They decided to make his motivation more sympathetic for the movie. They didn’t think through how his new goal could be better served with the godlike powers he gets.

Yeah first few session it’s believable he gets away with what he does. Later the power of the plot protects him.

They have access to a bunch of digital content. However it can be hard to find what you are looking for or even know what databases and other services are available.

Discovery services try to make that more available to end users. Kind of like a index of all the digital content the library has available.

In the Lynch movie he needs to milk a cat rat combo thing daily for the antidote.

Just like a rescue search party you looking in one place let someone else look in another. The person who finds the missing person is random. However if they were working alone they wouldn’t have found anything.

Product placement are the commercials in movies.

Because they don’t want to do anything to make brands not buy the spots during the episode.

So if an episode has product placement for pasta sauce A then pasta sauce B, C, and D don’t want to buy commercial spots for usually the entire run of the show.

It’s not set in stone but having it be that way for all your shows makes it easy to sell big blocks of commercial spots spread across the network.
