I think it’s been over 9 months.
I think it’s been over 9 months.
My uncle was evicted from his house because he failed to maintain the property and let it go to shit. It was winter, so we invited him to stay in a spare room in our basement just to keep him out of the cold and give him time to sell his property and buy a trailer home.
He’s still living here.
Grime. I lost my patience on one of the bosses and just couldn’t get back into it.
I went through this just a few weeks ago. It was really hard seeing her refuse to eat anything. But at least she seemed to like looking outside, laying on her favorite blanket.
Had to put mine down several weeks ago. She was also 18. I lost several other pets and four grandparents without shedding a tear, but this one broke me.
The vet appointment was at 6pm, so I could spend the last day with her. She acted more or less normal for her age, except not eating for three days and throwing up water.
I was rubbing her head until her heart stopped. I still miss her so much.
My cat used to wait for me to clean the litter box. Sometimes she’d look in it and walk away if it had too many clumps, but then use it immediately after I clean it.
I had one years ago with internet explorer that ended up being because “console.log” was not defined in that browser unless you had the console window open. That was fun to troublshoot.
Also me at work.
Ooh, I have a video for this: https://spectra.video/w/pz5XVrqnXtuS7zHgq32gw4
I open the text file where my powershell history is stored when the command I want isn’t recent enough.
That’s why I got a mouse with extra buttons on the side, so I can just copy and paste using my thumb.
Yes. I never had too much trouble on reddit, but I only stuck to specific subreddits and stayed away fron news or politics.
We had a spider once that, after someone walked through the web one day, started taking its web down every morning and rebuilding it in the evening.
Edit: I think it was one of these:
I’ve never been drunk at all. Never really had more than one or two drinks in one day.
On the internet, people also tell harmless jokes, which is what that comment was.
At the place I work at, the time logs are used as line items on invoices. Basically, if we don’t have the logs, the company can’t charge clients for our time. But I’m guessing that’s not typical?
VR headset. I mean, I don’t fully regret it yet, as I might someday find a VR game that I actually want to play, am able to play in the small space I have, and that doesn’t make me nauseous within 15 minutes.
A ton of subreddit replacement communities were created around the time of Reddit’s API changes, and there simply weren’t enough users to keep them going.
Almost definitely. According to my mom, she referred him to the same neurologist who diagnosed my ADD when I was kid and she prescribed him ritalin. But apparently he didn’t like how it made him feel “too focused” or something like that.
