Keep them separated in the house, feed them on opposite sides of a closed door. Then, after a week or two, have a baby gate/screen in the door while its open and you feed them treats.

Its really important that if a pet dies, you let the other pets see their body. Animals understand death, and letting them see the body helps stop the “searching” behaviour that you see
