• Assume that everyone else on the road is a total maniac who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
• Don’t drive faster than is safe for current road conditions (rain, ice, fog)

• Check out youtube videos like, “Idiots in cars.” There are plenty of examples there of what NOT to do. :)

I recommend downloading a Live Linux distribution and booting it from a USB stick.

This let’s you try out linux without making any changes to your Windows setup. It also lets you make sure linux detects all your computer’s hardware. If the live session works fine, the it will detect all that same hardware when you install it for real.

Plus, once you get done de-bloating Windows, the next Windows update will undo all your hard work and reset everything back to “allow all bloatware and spyware.” It’s a battle you’re never going to win unless you ditch Windows completely.

One of the ways to avoid a copyright strike is if you copy other people’s work, then what you upload must be “transformative” i.e. you have alter that source content significantly. Satire / Parody are two ways to do that.

But the cheapest, laziest way to “transform” content is to do reaction videos to it. And some people don’t even do that. They’ll just sit there, eating their dinner . . . occasionally glancing at the screen and going, “huh.” Lazy jerks.

See if your state has a CPS website and find out what the process is for reporting abuse (and find out what they consider to BE abuse. I’m pretty sure deliberate starvation qualifies.).

Do you have any friends outside the home you trust and can stay with, short term? Cops aren’t going to be useful, here. They’re not CPS or mental health caregivers and they’ll probably just take you back home to your dad.

A good sense of humor helps a lot. Also, if you want to avoid getting bogged down by nonsense, it’s a good idea to develop your critical thinking skills. That depends on having good sources of information that you trust.
