Oh shit it’s tight
I think we’re all just a little too tired from work, and living in this hellscape - who isn’t. Don’t feel like you owe someone your company. Don’t overthink it. It’s okay to let go sometimes. Some friends and friendships need a lot of space, and some even come back
No I don’t think it is. I don’t think you really understand what you’re claiming either.
My sexist father tried this joke on me once and I was too thick to get it. I always saw the joke itself as a joke

Yeah MicroSD should’ve been replaced eons ago.
The universe is just fascinating, isn’t it?

Any country that uses the dollar is seen by the American government as subordinate to them. They will use that to pursue political goals.

Didn’t Marx say everything would become gambling?
It’s going to take a stronger person than me to fix all my white friends who watch his shit. At some point they just want to be different and feel right for it.
Maybe we should build better exams
Anybody at reddit now must like it or need it. Lemmy wasn’t great either. I think most people have moved on from this kind of social media altogether. As a chronically online loser myself, I’ve never used the Internet less before in my life. It’s scary, and sad, but it is what it is.
In 2016 when all those celebs were dying I used to think the universe was getting the good people out before a bunch of awful shit happened. I guess Dolly has done all she could. Who else is left?
Sometimes I swear people put in earbuds just to do this and have an excuse
I don’t like smoking. I think I ought to be free to decide that for myself. I can’t, or by proxy, make that determination for anyone else - even though I don’t think they should be smoking if they choose to.
If it didn’t make so much money, kids wouldn’t be vaping. It’s an integral part of the American performance that, “nothing we can do about it”, is just what everone sees, and therefore thinks. We could prosecute parents for letting their kids have them, prosecute the gas stations for peddling it, prosecute the companies making them cheap and disposable. All of that would turn off the faucet on a billion dollar industry though, so it becomes part of our performance in one way or another. We have fundamentally bet that our world is a better place with smoking children in it, than without. That is what Capitalism does, that is how it does it. That is why it needs to be controlled like a rabid dog on a leash.
Here in Missouri the bike lanes are just painted on existing car lanes. Sometimes right down the middle. I actually applaud whenever I see a cyclist acting safe. The performance of most cyclists I see is insane at best, deadly at worst. I don’t think most cyclists realize they can be run over and the cops would likely just rule it an accident, unless there’s pressure and evidence to suggest otherwise. If I hated cars so much I didn’t want to use one, the last thing I would do is pick fights with them on crowded streets. The best cyclist is the one that isn’t there.
I wish bikes just took the whole lane like a car. Half assing it either way is really the problem.
They sold their shit. They helped make this happen.
I liked owning clear cups and dishware so I could see if it was too dirty to reuse. Checking for spots made it easier to clean, after-all it’s already in my hands. The drying rack was the clincher though, it gives them a home between uses.
I’d rather piss soap and drink titties
