Does this count as a shitpost? I mean it’s about a piece of shit, but I’m not sure it’s the same thing.
As an Auburn alum, the dev wearing a Bama jersey makes this extra good.
If you want something done right…
You can, and should, read every single part of this post in the Hulkster’s voice. Including this comment, BROTHER!
Fantastic idea!

This is pretty much it. Communal areas have a TV where I’ve gotten the biggest TV with the best(-ish) quality I can get. If I gamed, same would be true for that display. Those get the heaviest use by the most people. Everywhere else I’ll probably get something passable that’s big enough for me to read subtitles on. But for most of those spaces I’ll use a tablet or Vision Pro.
I love it when the occasional person comes through arguing that we should just get rid of time zones so it’s the same time everywhere. Always a fun discussion.

Postmodern Jukebox’s version of We Can’t Stop.
Their version of Take Me to Church is pretty good, too. Not the the original was bad, but Morgan James just takes it to another level. If you find a live version where it’s just her and a pianist, it’s pretty impressive. Got to see it live awhile back and had chills.
Pretty sure that stand requires a MAC-10, not an Uzi.

Yep. iOS spellcheck really is shit.

Wasn’t sure if you meant that or “Over the Edge” from 1979. Can’t remember if HOA specifically was the Bad Guy, but it was kids vs The Man.

Mr Frankenstein’s blog helped me out early on. I also found a write up that dovetailed into it using dockerproxy & swag instead of traefik or caddy. Unfortunately, I don’t have those links handy. Should be able to search for the first one pretty easily, though.

How many have died because of DOGE’s reckless cuts?
Gen X here - don’t lump me in with fucking boomers! I’m just as angry as y’all are, and have been for longer.
That said, thanks for remembering we exist.
I did that, and also laughed way too hard at the same time.

This was in DC, IIRC
I have a stuffed animal from my mom’s childhood. I inherited it at some point in mine. Also have some knitted stuffed animals made for me by my great-grandmother when I was a pretty young. As for stuff I purchased myself, I have a pair of combat boots I bought in 1991 or 92 that are still alright. I also have a sweater I bought in college, probably 95 or 96, for $5 on a clearance rack. Thought I lost it last year and was actually pretty bummed.
